OUR PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING STUDENTS TO RIDE
We believe that lessons should be based on having fun and staying safe! We do not believe in pushing students to learn to ride. Not all people are alike. Some learn fast, others need a little more time to get the hang of it.
Our "mane" priority is to teach students in a fun and stress free environment. We realize that to a small child, a big horse can sometimes look intimidating. That is okay! We will go slowly so that the student feels comfortable and confident.
Wheather you are young or old, just beginning to ride, or maybe you've been out of the saddle for awhile, or want to take your riding skills a little higher and do a little showing, Pine Ridge can help you reach YOUR goals!
SUMMER HORSE CAMP Please see "CAMP" page
Our summer camp program is held daily from 9am to 3 pm with extended hours available. It is available for kids ages 6 - 16.
Daily activities include learning how to safely apprcoach and handle horses, grooming, tacking, arts & crafts, games, swimming (in an above ground 4' pool) and the basics of riding.
Here are some things that previous campers had to say....
I really learned a lot about horses in camp and had so much fun. I think that anyone who loves horses should come to your camp
